Actor of the Year
This award goes to the actor who appared in the most movies in the given year, with various tie breakers in effect.
Director of the Year
Like above, but for directors.
Producer of the Year
Once again, I refer you to above.
Writer of the Year
You might be sensing a pattern here.
Globetrotter Award
Finally, a break in the pattern. This one goes to the movie that was filmed in the highest number of countries. In the case of animated movies, it instead counts all of the production locations.
Top Movie by Country
In each country that was involved in the filming or animating of a movie, the highest rated one is listed, as per the end of year rankings.
Top Genres of the Year
These are the 5 genres that occured most frequently during the year. For the purposes of this award, I defer to IMDB's listed genres.
Top Movie per Genre
For each genre, the movie with the highest ranking in the end of year polling is given.
Trekiest Movie
This award goes to the movie with the greatest presence of actors who aslo appeared in Star Trek in some capacity. Only characters with a credited appearance count towards this award. In the listing, not only is their character in the movie given, but also what characters they played in Star Trek, plus those characters' first appearance. Their presence is weighted differently based upon how important the character they played in Star Trek was. The Star Trek characters are divided into 3 groups:
